Client: Bluefragments
Task
Design an app to be used at Intensive Care at the hospital for patients unable to speak. Using symbols the patients communicate their needs.
How
Together with nursing staff at the hospital the Bluefragments team designed the Talk2Care app for tablets. I designed the full UI and UX. The main focus was to design the interface as clear as possible making it usable by patients that could have impaired vision and problems with moving. Different colors and layouts were tested to find a solution with optimal visual contrast and usability. The app is used with great succes at the biggest hospitals in Denmark.
